Diamonds are miracles of the mother earth. Searching for inspiration to our work lead us to the great heritage of Greek mythology. Finding the myths extremely fascinating, we decided to incorporate historic influencers to our styles and design. In addition, we find solar systems very fascinating, why we also embrace the planetary designations.

A few words from our Founder & Owner

Dear beloved customers,

Being Chief Executive Officer and Founder of MIKU Diamonds, I would like to share a short story from my personal life.

My journey with diamonds began many years ago. I bought my first diamond in Israel when I turned thirteen years old. It was a special gift for my dear mother.
Five years later, back in Israel, I wanted to start a real business and spent all my savings (at that time approx. 20.000 USD) and bought a couple of beautiful loose diamonds.

As the years passed I got myself into many projects. Started in the diamond business back in the 1980s, where I trading gems in all parts of the world. Slowly i began to trade all types of goods and got particularly involved in household appliances and white goods.

Since this became my trade for many years, I like emphasize it as I fell asleep in a fridge…

Although I have been away from the diamond business for many years, I have always kept both my passion for diamonds and my large network of diamond dealers and stock exchange.

Late 2017 I decided to return to the industry and resume my old business. Throughout the years a lot was changed. For this reason, I wanted to make a company with a sustainable profile, not only focusing on sales and profit. Instead I want to share my passion for high quality diamonds and make it possible for everyone to purchase.
My values are quality, trustworthy, reliability and fairness. These values are all part of the MIKU Diamonds identity.

How is it possible to offer high quality product to market low pricing? The answer is pretty simple. I have reduced my own profit to a minimum and I have kept my old network of traditional diamond dealers – all dealers born into the industry.

Being located in Copenhagen, Denmark I have done a lot of researched in this market and how the current situation is disrupting the needed trust. Dealing with natural diamonds you will have to pay a lot of attention to the craft and the history of the product.
In Denmark we are only a handful of dealers offering high quality diamond. For that reason the common buyer is purchasing low quality diamonds, which is a shame. My mission is to limit the profit and offer extraordinary diamonds to affordable price.

How to understand the world of diamonds? Quality? 4Cs?
www.mikudimonds.com is created for two reasons. Showcase our products and educate any user how to choose the right diamond. All diamonds are unique and therefore it is necessary to understand the basics. 

First thing to know is the term: 4Cs. This is the baseline of any diamond grading.

Carat
Color
Clarity
Cut

Continuing, you’ll also have to remember the polish and symmetry. These are extremely important for any diamond, since they are essential for the gem to obtain the right light and shine.

It is important for us that you feel confident all the way trough a purchase. Therefore we only sell diamonds with a original certificate (only GIA and HRD). Furthermore, we do not sell any diamonds with fluorescence.

Lastly, I want to mention that we offer handmade jewelry design and we accept any personal design or style. Just send us your description (/contact) and we do our best to make it happen.
